Advisory Board
A group of external experts who provide non-binding strategic guidance to a company's leadership. Unlike a formal board of directors, advisory board members typically have no fiduciary duties or voting power. Startups often form advisory boards to access industry expertise, mentorship, and networking connections without the legal obligations of a governing board.
