Frequently asked questions
Can other board members see my searches?
Search queries are logged for security and compliance purposes. Board administrators may have access to search audit logs to support governance requirements.
Can ImBoard employees see my documents?
ImBoard employees do not have routine access to your document content. Access is restricted to authorized personnel for support purposes only, under strict audit controls.
What if I'm a member of multiple boards?
Each board is searched independently. When you search within "Acme Corp," you'll only see Acme Corp documents—even if you're also a member of "Beta Inc." With Portfolio Search, you can search across all your boards at once, with results clearly labeled by board.
Are my documents encrypted?
Yes. Documents are encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256 encryption in storage).
Where is my data stored?
ImBoard uses MongoDB Atlas hosted on AWS infrastructure.
